Patience
« on: October 14, 2010, 06:32:34 AM »
Figured being a member I should post a recording and this is all I've got as I haven't recorded since my daughter was born (funny how that happens). This was done a few years ago to try out a mic/pre, all guitar/vocals are first takes replete with clams and even some cell phone noises!  8) I don't remember what software I used but stingx mastered it for me.

Thanks all, much appreciated. That guitar is my trusty ol' Tama I've had for over 30 years now.

Have I bumped my head?  Isn't the original version done acoustically? Someone let me know if I'm wrong.  Either way, very nice version...great job on the sound quality as well.

Sounds great dude, really enjoyed this one.

I had to laugh though as my nephew heard the final segment and he said 'is that peter griffin from family guy?'

Thanks!  As I recall this was a Behringer ECM8000 measurement mic into my M-Audio Mobile Pre (both of which I bought to measure speakers, not for recording as such), nothing fancy. I think I used Cakewalk but that PC is history.

That's really funny, your nephew hit the nail on the head.  I got pretty Axl-campy at the end.  ;D
