David Allan Coe
« on: October 14, 2010, 10:41:46 PM »
I think something was wrong with me when I decided this cover would be a good idea..lol
Anyway, I found the backer online, so this is just a vocal cover of Long Haired Redneck by
David Allan Coe.  Not a huge country fan, but this was kind of fun to do.  Lets see if this
mp3 player insert thing works......

Hey, I think I got it!!!  Ok, thanks for checkin' it out....sorry, not good enough to actually play this type of music...sad huh?  Take care all,

Jeff

Jeff, you have a great voice! Fantastic pitch and timbre. Had I heard this on the radio I wouldn't have guessed it wasn't a professional performance. Seriously.

Thanks guys!  I really should get back to my own genre...whatever that is.  This was fun though, so I guess it was worth it.  Take care,

Jeff, that was fantastic! I am not big on country either but I know when something sounds really good and THIS is just damn good! Your vocals are top notch and fit this to a tee. Great all round production and sound. Take a bow.

Thanks again sting....not much of a country fan myself, although I do like this song.  Maybe it's one of the "sing in the shower" songs or something...who knows.  Anyway, I appreciate the comments...take care.

You kill me man... Your vocals are great.  IAlways thought if you switched up and went to a different genre that you'd pull off an excellent Don Henley, one of their less popular tunes with a little more of a southern swing or  maybe a Dire Straights song.  This was was a WAY better treat though.

Thanks Wig!!  I like Don Henley, but would have never given any thought to covering his stuff.  But, I guess I could have said the same thing for this tune as well...lol.  Thanks again man.
