Fender Blactop Series
« on: September 23, 2010, 05:33:07 AM »
Got a chance to play the Tele and was quite impressed of the feel and playability. Still need to try the strat but, as stated, the tele was quite nice looking/playing.

What say ye? Hot ot not?

The GC on 14th street had two teles but no strat to try out. The tele looked great and not cheapish.

I could see a couple P-90's in the Tele. Love the Strat in the Blue, too.

Me likey!!
I'm really liking the Black Strat. My misses would kill me if I brought another guitar home. Maybe if I'm really nice to her and take out for a nice night,..LMAO!

I love the looks of the tele but not the divorce if I bring one home, trying to quit smoking maybe this should be my reward sounds good to me anyway. Loving this site already and am glad to see a lot came over

Would any of you trade in an Ibanez 1570 for a blacktop Strat? Curious.

Going to GC later to play both the Strat and the Tele and see which one tugs harder at my wallet :)

I'm jealous bro,..LMAO. Let us know what you think.  On the trade in,.be careful,.they always try it tell you some story that the guitar isn't worth really what it is and give way, way less. You can always give it a shot just to see what they say. I've done this in the past and wasn't very happy with the outcome.

I don't get it?
It is just a Strat with humbuckers. I don't see the big attraction that you all seem to be getting from it.
It is really nothing you could not do yourself.

Would cost me about $275 for good humbuckers and appropriate pickguard. For a couple of hundred more I'm done. No wasting time fuckin around.
